 The Steppin' on Ghana Grounds Dance Showcase—an electrifying event celebrating the rhythm, history, and culture of dance in theMotherland! This is your opportunity to showcase your talent on an international stage, connecting with fellow dancers from around the world.

Who Can Participate?

  • Open to all ages (participants under 18 require a guardian’s consent).

  • Teams can consist of 2 to 15 participants.

  • Formal and informal groups are welcome—whether you’re a professional step team, a dance crew, or a group of friends passionate about movement, you are invited to showcase your talent.

  • Attendees with a 1-day only pass are not eligible to perform in the showcase.

Spots Are Limited! Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up early to secure your place in this unforgettable experience!

***Team Requirements & Guidelines***

Performance Duration: Each team will have 5-7 minutes to perform.

  1. Dance Style: Open to step, line dance, Southern soul, and other cultural line dance forms.

  2. Music: Teams must submit their music tracks in advance (MP3 or WAV format) no later than July 29, 2025

  3. Props & Attire: Outfits must be appropriate for a family-friendly audience. Props are allowed but must be mentioned beforehand.

  4. Check-in & Rehearsal: Teams must be prepare at least 1 hour before showtime for check-in and sound check.

  5. Waiver & Consent: All participants must complete a waiver form. Those under 18 must have a legal guardian sign the consent form.

  6. Code of Conduct: Professionalism, respect, and good sportsmanship are expected from all participants.
